Trying out for 2008 City Slam, Air Bama hits his head off the rim. Visibly shaken, he asks the promoter “what else do I have to do?” as if to say hitting his head off the rim should be enough. I would think it would be but they wanted to see more. So he promptly jumps over Chuck and finishes with his elbow in the rim. Insane. Its all in the video.

All due respect goes out to Team Flight Brothers. The interest they have generated around the art of dunking is incredible. I cant remember another time when there was so much good dunk footage coming out on such a consistent basis. I have a feeling things are only going to get better. I still hope that the end result is the day that NBA dunkers will face off against streetball dunkers at all star weekend. One can only hope.

More Air Bama footage from the TFB tour stop in the Bay area. Some nice dunks in here. Off the glass, elbow in the rim, in a game, still has to be pretty tough even though these guys make it look like it’s nothing.
